Eurowings is set to bolster its operations at Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER) by adding an additional aircraft to its fleet stationed there during the upcoming winter 2024-25 season. With this new addition, the number of aircraft based at BER will increase to seven, enhancing the airline’s capacity for both domestic and international routes.
One of the key highlights of Eurowings’ winter expansion is the return of its daily direct flights between BER and Dubai International Airport, scheduled to recommence on October 27, 2024. This route will be served by the state-of-the-art Airbus A320neo, known for its fuel efficiency and enhanced passenger comfort. The daily service to Dubai provides travelers with a seamless connection between the German capital and one of the most vibrant cities in the Middle East.
In addition to the Dubai route, Eurowings will also introduce a brand-new connection between Berlin and Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Beginning on November 5, 2024, this route will operate three times a week, also using the A320neo aircraft. The new service to Jeddah, a city known for its cultural and economic significance, is expected to attract both business and leisure travelers looking for convenient access to Saudi Arabia.
With these exciting developments, Eurowings is poised to offer greater connectivity and more travel options to passengers flying from Berlin, marking another step in the airline’s strategic growth in the region.
